We offer a variety of services to make life easier, along with fun social gatherings and exciting excursions – all planned by our amazing members themselves! That means you get to connect with like-minded people and create new experiences, all on your own terms.

Personalized Consultation

Consultations with our Executive Director, who is a licensed clinical social worker, i.e.: assistance drawing up a “fall prevention” plan, facilitation of discussions/options for remaining in your own home.

Volunteer Assistance

Volunteer assistance for personal services, such as note-taking at a medical appointment, as well as transportation and small household tasks (computer assistance, prescription pickups, light bulbs changing, and minor household repairs).

Pre-Screened Vendors

Pre-screened vendors who are thoroughly vetted by our staff: insured, license-checked, and with positive references. All vendor services are offered at reasonable rates. Some vendors may also offer a discount to At Home members. Please note: once a referral is given, we follow-up to ensure that the job was done according to our member’s specifications and satisfaction.

 ANNUAL FEES:
Individual: $500 / Household: $650

  • Membership is open to any Greenwich resident, age 50 or older.

  • All memberships are good for one year from the month that you join.

  • Financial assistance is available. A confidential arrangement for aid can be made with our Executive Director.

  • All member information is strictly confidential.

MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES:

1. Members are just a phone call away from a licensed social worker who can help solve problems by assessing a situation to produce comfortable, viable options.
($200/hour value)

2. One-stop shopping for referrals to vetted vendors in the areas of home maintenance, home health care, and transportation, to name a few. All vendors have been used and approved by our members, and each referral given is followed up by a phone call from the office to ensure quality service.
(Service sometimes performed at discounted rates.)

3.  A monthly calendar developed by At Home provides access to social activities such as luncheons, discussion groups, trips to local museums, concerts, and lectures. Many of these activities are free of charge and members are given the best discount when fees are required.

4.  Free home safety assessment by the social worker who will walk through your home and offer a professional opinion on work needed or areas to be concerned about.

5. Wonderful volunteers who may accompany you to the doctor, change a light bulb or fire alarm batteries, or fix the latch on your door.
