Check in at front desk on the way in. 1:00 pm: Darien Historical Society-About Time-Margaret Brassler January 9, 2019 1:00 pm Darien Historical Society Curator Tour & Tea - “About Time: The Masterwork of Margaret Brassler Kane” (1909 - 2005). Explore the life and works of this prolific Greenwich sculptor depicting events of American history and other social and political events. (Her work has been shown in the Smithsonian.) Discussion with Jay Kane, the artist’s son, and Maggie McIntire, director of the Darien Historical Society. Reception and light refreshments will follow.
